CRITERIA D - EVALUATING THE SOLUTION

Task 1: Self Assessment
Phone Cover Holder

Pencil Pot

Child-Friendly Syringe

Peer Assets by Presha

Task 2: Peer Assessment

Task 3:  Write a Parapgrahy

Child-Friendly Syringe

On my child-friendly syringe I think I have done well because I tried to add some detail, but I think I could improve on somethings like the colors and the shape of the syringe. I could have done this by explored more on the shapes ,but I did have to make the shape several times until l I got my final design. I could also improve on the colors I wanted the butterfly to be a stripped rainbow but it didn't work out because there wasn't a proper way, I wanted it to be a rainbow because children are attracted to colors and they wouldn't be afraid but what I did was a put it as some dots are circles. I should have maybe add more detail because it would have a more of a butterfly look, like if I added the antennas so the needle wouldn't be show that much or maybe I should have added some strips on the body of the butterfly. If maybe there was a type of tool that you can make your own shape I would have found it very easy. If I added this my design would have very child-friendly syringe and I would imagine that I child wouldn't be scared at all.

Pencil Pot

For the Pencil Pot I think it went great, I made sure there where some examples of how it would look like with a pencil and without a pencil. I just need to improve on a few things, like it didn’t really look like a porcupine, I need a little more detail for the porcupine.  Maybe I could have added the wholes on the side of it or maybe I should have should 2 picture of the porcupine with  the pencils and without the pencil it would look more detailed and maybe it wouldn't look like a circle with eyes.  On Tinkercad it was kind of hard making the eyes symmetrical so if there was like a tool for example a ruler for it to be symmetrical.  I also wanted to improve on the body it didn't look very professional but if I got used to Tinkercad maybe it would have been better. But I still like the design but next time I should add a little more detail on the design.

The Phone Corner Holder

For my phone corner holder, I think it was great but I should improve on it a little more. But I think that I did add a good amount of detailed in my project. But maybe I could improve on my corner holder bay making my own shape. I am not sure what else to improve on because I really liked the detail of the project.

CRITERIA C - CREATING THE SOLUTION

The Syringe

I found the project quite hard at first because my first butterfly wasn't looking well but I did mange to improve it. First what I did was I got 4 half circles and I made sure that both where the same size, and how I did that was I made a size I want and then I copied and pasted the size. Then I got a cylinder and I made the shape. After I made the tiny circles in different colors . Then on Tinkercad I found a shape for the pump then I got a small circle and I changed the color of the pump.
The shapes I used was a half circle and I also used a cylinder to make the shapes. I used a circle this thin circle for the rainbow. I also found a weird shape that showed me a perfect pump so I made it smaller and I added a circle. I have learnt how to crop shapes and makes the shape fit the butterflies body and I made sure the shape was in the actually butterfly.

The Corner Holder

When I created this project I saw a shape on what I was looking for and I asked my teacher if I could just use that but she told me it would get me a low grade so what I decide to make was a device to show an example of what it would look like it was on a phone. First what I did was got a cube and made it flat, then I got another a cube made it a little smaller and made it in different color. After that I made a few apps with a few effects. When I finish I got a diamond shape and made it in a 2 level shape. I didn't use a lot of techniques on this project because I already used a lot of effects for the phone.

Pencil Pot

I found this project the funniest but it was really interesting. It was quite a challenge because of the body. I used a sphere for the mean body them I used a half circle for the tail then i used a cylinder for my nose and the eyes were just simple thin circle. I made wholes for the pencils and I made sure that you could see it but I also wanted to make an example of it so I added a few pencils. I also did us the grouping that was quite difficult because it made it glitchy so I made sure that everything was perfect.

CRITERIA B - DEVELOPING IDEAS

Design Specification

1) Syringe

2)Phone corner cover

3) Pencil pot

My butterfly sketch was quite simple, I only made on sketch because I didn't want anything different. It was quite a challenge because I got a little worried about how I am going to do it on Tinkercad. The main highlight is that I want children to see the syringe as something safe and something nice and colorful, so I made the needle as the tongue of the butterfly and I made sure it wasn't very visible. I think it was well annotated because I did make it really descriptive. I got the idea from my little sister she told me that she didn't like the syringe because it looked boring and the needle looked to sharp

I just made a simple little sketch of a pencil pot or a pencil holder. It was quite a challenge to draw because I wanted it to look more 3D. The highlight of my sketch is that it is going to help you keep your pencils in order and nothing will get lost. I don't think i did quite well on the annotation because I wasn't descriptive. I got this idea off of the internet, I liked it because the wholes where in different sizes so its for any type of pen.

This sketch was more on the creative side of things because it a porcupine and the pencils are the sharp hairs of the porcupine, it was quite a challenge because I was afraid on what it was going to look like on Tinkercad. The highlights is that it was going to be something for children and it will be easy to use. I think i did annotated well because I talked about most of the parts of the porcupine. I got this idea of the internet I liked it because I thought if I actually sold it a lot of people would by it.

This drawing was hard because I didn't know what to add, so i thought I dissuaded to make it as if it had levels so I made it look like a diamond. The highlight is that it has a level to it and it can make it harder for your phone to crack. I think I did well on annotated because to spoke about most things on my sketch. I got this idea from my teacher she told my to think on a different way to protect my phone.

This sketch is just a simple sketch. This wasn't a challenge because there are already a lot of inventions like this. The highlight is that is going to protect your phone from not cracking. I think I did annotated well because I tried making it really descriptive. I just thought of it because I would always drop my phone and I wanted something to stop it just cracking easily.
